Schools and Youth

2020 saw the launch of the Heath's new Youth Volunteering Programme

Whether you're passionate about climate change, looking to gain work experience or are working towards your Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) award there are lots of ways you can get involved on Hampstead Heath.

At our Heath Hands youth sessions, you'll be able to:

  • take part in conservation and sustainability projects
  • help wildlife and nature
  • meet like-minded people
  • gain experience and new skills

We have after school sessions each Wednesday from February to November and regular weekend activities.

Simply email us or download an application form to get involved.

We also welcome visits from local schools or youth groups, be it to use our education gardens, for volunteering activities or for bug hunting, walks or other nature discovery activities on the Heath.

Do email us for more information and support on bringing your school or youth group to Hampstead Heath.
