Wildlife Interpreting

Wild About Hampstead Heath (WaHH) is our wildlife interpretation programme, helping visitors engage with the wide variety of wildlife on Hampstead Heath, and making lasting connections to nature. We've got free, fun nature activities for everyone each weekend on the Heath. Come along and learn about nature on the Heath with our fantastic volunteer Wildlife Interpreters.

You can go on free guided walks and take part in lots of informative and fun activities such as pond dipping, den building, bird watching and much much more!

Sessions are suitable for all ages take place every weekend at 12.30-16.00, at locations around Parliament Hill. Check on the slides for upcoming dates and Twitter for exact locations or look out for our display bikes on the day.

In addition, thanks to funding from Camden Giving, we are now able to 'bring the Heath' to local community groups and events. Do get in touch if you would like a visit from our wildlife interpreters to run some nature activities out in the community.

If you're interested in getting more involved, you can volunteer as Wildlife Interpreter and help deliver our sessions.
