Heath Hands is recruiting for a new part-time (12 hours a week) trainee conservation ranger role.
The new team member will play a key role in Heath Hands' day-to-day operations, helping deliver our conservation, learning, community outreach and events programmes in conjunction with our partners at the City of London and English Heritage. The trainee ranger will support the Projects and Volunteer Manager and the Heath's Ranger Team run our volunteer and other group activities across our green spaces.
The ideal candidate will be someone looking to pursue a career in practical conservation or wishing to gain experience in the outdoor sector and will be familiar with Hampstead Heath, Highgate Wood and the Kenwood Estate. Placements are initially for 12 weeks, with an expectation to extend.
