Wildlife Interpreter

Share your knowledge and passion for nature with others and help people discover more about the Heath's amazing wildlife and habitats. Be part of Wild about Hampstead Heath, (WaHH) our volunteer led learning programme, engaging visitors and helping them make lasting connections to nature.

As a Wildlife Interpreter you will:

  • meet the public and work with families and visitors of all age
  • learn amazing new things about nature and develop your environmental knowledge
  • deliver different nature-based activities with visitors
  • receive regular training on a range of environmental topics, developing your knowledge and skills

We want you to:

  • be passionate about nature
  • be keen to share your knowledge with others
  • work well as part of a team and have good communication skills
  • attend volunteer sessions once a month as a minimum

WaHH bike sessions take place every weekend, and are led by our dedicated team of volunteer supervisors.
