Summer youth, kids and family opportunities
We are excited to announce a programme of activities for families, children and young people this summer 2021.
On Friday mornings, we’ll we running nature explorer sessions for children aged 8-12. Children will explore the Heath with our staff and get the opportunity to take part in nature activities such as bug hunting, pond dipping or nature art.
Friday afternoons will be for young people aged 13-17 - they will get an opportunity to volunteer on the Heath, taking part in conservation work, gardening, making wildlife homes and much more.
And we’re also offering family walks and volunteering sessions for all ages:
A nature walk finding out about pollinators on 31st July
A family litter pick on 2nd August
A family nature walk on 4th August
A walk exploring the Fleet river on 14th August
