Nature Journaling Workshop

Join us for a guided walk and nature journaling workshop around Kenwood.

Nature journaling is a method of recording and collecting your observations through a variety of ways - note making, sketching, writing or whatever method works best for you. Nature journaling can enrich your experience in the natural world, help deepen your relationship with the local environment and help develop your identification skills.

Here are some examples of Shilpa Agashe’s work - illustrating the variety of ways you can approach journaling (see pictures below). We'll also share how technology can be used to bolster a nature journaling practice.

Materials will be provided, But please bring your own notebooks or pens if you wish. Also, feel free to bring your phones to take photos to draw from and try out some helpful apps.

All welcome. You do not need to be an artist or a naturalist to enjoy this workshop! Anyone under 18 should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

£5 for adults (children free). Please book below.

We will be meeting in the Kenwood area - exact meeting location will be given upon booking. Please note, this event will be held mostly outside. If the weather is bad we may have to reschedule.
