Nature Journaling Workshop

The pages of two nature journals

Join us for a guided walk and nature journaling workshop around Kenwood.

Nature journaling is a method of recording and collecting your observations in a variety of ways - note making, sketching, writing or whatever method works best for you. Nature journaling can enrich your experience of the natural world, deepen your relationship with the local environment and help develop your identification skills.

Materials will be provided, But please bring your own notebooks or pens if you wish. Also, feel free to bring your phones to take photos to draw from and try out some helpful apps. We'll share how technology can be used to bolster a nature journaling practice.

All welcome. You do not need to be an artist or a naturalist to enjoy this workshop! Anyone under 18 should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

We will be meeting in the Kenwood area - exact meeting location will be given upon booking. Please note, this event will be held mostly outside. If the weather is bad we may have to reschedule, but we will still go ahead if there’s a bit of rain!
