Youth Volunteering

< Back to Volunteering Home

For young people aged 13-17 who are passionate about the environment, looking to gain work experience or want to spend time in nature, there are lots of ways you can get involved as a youth volunteer on Hampstead Heath.

Volunteer sessions will restart on Saturday 21st September 2024 - apply below!

On weekend morning conservation sessions our youth volunteers:

  • take part in conservation and environmental sustainability work

  • help wildlife and nature

  • meet like-minded people

  • gain experience and new skills

You will get involved with wildlife conservation and the management of the amazing habitats of the Heath, largely around the Parliament Hill area. No skills or prior experience needed, everyone is welcome and all equipment is provided.

If you are doing your Duke of Edinburgh Award, we will keep track of your volunteering hours and complete any assessor forms required.

Days and times: Saturdays 10am-12pm
